Remember the Valentine Senior Center will be hosting a Christmas Arts and Crafts, Bake Sale on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. They have a lot of great vendors that will be there ...stop by for some great Christmas Shopping.

Weather issues have delayed printing and delivery of this week's Valentine Midland News. Remember, your community newspaper is printed in Iowa and driven to Nebraska. Here's the message...

"Last night we experienced high wind volumes causing power outages. The equipment is back up now but currently we are not finished with your papers for delivery. We will work on finishing them this morning. Thank you for your patience."

The City of Valentine will have a temporary water service interruption on Monday, December 8th from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to replace valves at 2nd and Wood. The affected areas are:

From Edna to Wood on 2nd and 3rd

From 2nd and 3rd on Edna

From 3rd to 4th on Voctoria and

From 2nd to 4th on Wood.
