Our format is built to educate, energize, and empower readers – helping them make the most informed decisions for their careers, businesses, families, and personal lives.

We continued to evolve over time to improve the reader experience:
• We began as a newsprint tabloid-size magazine in print.
• We built an e-magazine website so readers could more easily access local resources and informative articles.
• Later, we upgraded to a glossy print magazine and added a digital version. Today, we publish digital only.

In 2022, Hazel noticed a cough that just wouldn’t go away. Concerned, she saw her doctor, who ordered a CT scan—just to be safe. The results revealed something she never expected: lung cancer.
