is hosting a Movie Night & Potluck on Sunday, August 2, and everyone is invited!

Bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share, and enjoy an evening of good food, fellowship, and the inspiring film Jesus Revolution. The church will provide the meat, and childcare will be available for younger children during the movie.

Copper's Motherlode Homeschool Group is hosting Open House events where you can meet other homeschool families, ask questions, and learn more about what their group has to offer.

I absolutely love this! Did you know that San Andreas Community Covenant Church has a shower ministry for those in need? This is the only church I have heard of that does this around here. If you don't have access to a shower, but need a shower this church will help you out. Know of another ministry that does this? Let us know!

Here is a good Summer Recipe for your next Summer community meal or family gathering!

-- Fresh Cucumber Tomato Salad --
This refreshing summer side dish has become one of the most popular recipes this season because it’s incredibly easy, uses garden-fresh ingredients, and tastes even better after it’s been chilled for a couple of hours.

Ingredients:
2 large cucumbers, sliced
3 ripe tomatoes, chopped
½ red onion, thinly sliced
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon sugar or honey
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried parsley (or a handful of fresh parsley)

Directions:
Combine the cucumbers, tomatoes, and onion in a large bowl.
Whisk together the vinegar, olive oil, sugar (or honey), salt, pepper, and parsley.
Pour over the vegetables and toss well.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to let the flavors come together.
Serve cold with grilled chicken, burgers, sandwiches, or your favorite BBQ meal.

💡 Kitchen Tip: This salad tastes even better the next day, making it a perfect make-ahead dish for busy families or church gatherings.
