The Valparaiso City Council is now reviewing a proposed ordinance that would establish official rules "official pathway" and approval standards for FUTURE Data Centers inside Valpo.

But many residents may ask: Why create a roadmap at all if citizens want these projects stopped entirely?

🚨 UPDATE: “EASTSIDE PARK” IS NOW EASTSIDE CAMPUS🚨

Another update — and another shift.

The City has unveiled new plans (March 31, 2026) for the Eastside development…
and the project is no longer being referred to as a park.

It’s now called the “Eastside Campus.”

On Monday the 9th, the Valparaiso City Council is scheduled to vote on a resolution by Councilmen Cotton expressing grief and outrage over the deaths of Renée Nicole Good and Alex Pretti in Minnesota.

📄 The draft resolution includes:
• Calls for independent investigations
• Demands federal accountability
• Support for peaceful, non-violent civic engagement

❓ Honest question for Valpo residents:
Is this something our local City Council should be voting on?
