I was literally in Canva finishing a bed bug template about travel when this story popped up.

Bed bugs don’t just stay in bedrooms—they hitch rides on planes, buses, trains, and luggage.

For pest pros, it’s a good reminder to talk with customers about travel checks before and after trips.

Would your clients know what to look for after a flight like this?

The plaintiffs, a family of four, allege the bedbug bites caused "raised and itchy welts, lesions, and rashes across their toros and extremities."

Plot twist: squirrels are rodents too. 🐿️

This is what happens when birdseed turns into a backyard buffet… and the squirrel’s next stop is the roof.

If branches touch your roofline, it’s basically a bridge to check vents and gaps.

Quick fixes:

1️⃣ Clean up spilled seed

2️⃣ Add a baffle/squirrel-resistant feeder

3️⃣ Trim branches back from the roof

4️⃣ Secure roof + attic vents (tight screen, no gaps)
