I get asked all the time for recommendations on water shoes, goggles, snorkel gear, shark tooth hunting tools, and all the random things that make our water days easier.
So I rounded up the products we actually use and love. 💙
• A sand flea rake. It makes shelling and shark tooth hunting so much easier.
• The shark tooth sifter. Hours of entertainment for kids and adults alike. (If you’re handy, I also have a DIY version linked in my bio.)
• Speedo goggles. We’ve gone through dozens of pairs over the years, and these are the ones that consistently fit well, hold up, and don’t drive us crazy.
• Closed-toe water shoes. Maybe not as cute, but after enough encounters with rocks, shells, oyster beds, and boat ramps, safety wins every time.
• Full-face snorkel masks for beginners. Both of my kids started with these and loved them.
• A traditional snorkel set for bigger kids. This is the exact one my daughter uses now.
• Cressi snorkel gear. I’ve been snorkeling for years, and this is the brand I keep coming back to for quality and durability.
• A viewing raft. Perfect for when little snorkelers need a break but still want to see what’s below them.
• The catch-and-release aquarium. We take it everywhere. Beaches, springs, rivers, creeks, lakes. It gets used constantly.
• A waterproof coastal life guide. One of our favorite ways to turn a beach day into a little adventure and learning experience.
These aren’t sponsored picks. Just things that have earned a permanent spot in our beach bag over the years.
