Xiegu G7250 Pricing — What Will It Cost?

The new Xiegu G7250 is shaping up to be one of the most interesting HF radio releases to watch. But the big question remains: What will it actually cost in the U.S.?

With competing radios like the Icom IC-7300, Yaesu FT-710, and FT-DX10 already occupying the $900–$1,400 range, where does the G7250 fit?

In this video, I look at the current pricing clues, including the 8,999 SEK preliminary listing from Swedish dealer PileupDX, and give you my prediction for the eventual U.S. MSRP and street price.

One of the highlights of Field Day was seeing the next generation of amateur radio operators get on the air. Jon Phillips, W4OMX, helped his son, Leer, make contacts by serving as his logger while Leer took the microphone and operated the station. It was a great example of how amateur radio brings families together while passing along valuable operating skills, confidence, and a passion for the hobby. Moments like these are what Youth on the Air is all about—encouraging young operators to learn, explore, and become the future of amateur radio.
