Word's out: The falls at Gunlock State Park will likely flow soon as the reservoir is becoming quite full. Overwhelming interest in seeing the waterfalls has caused commotion at the park in past years. Here's what we've done to improve the experience for visitors this year:

🌊 Parking and trailhead upgrades
🌊 Caution signs along trails and on the dam reminding visitors of the hazards
🌊 Increased enforcement to help mitigate congestion
Increased park staff onsite

⚠️Here's what we need you to do:⚠️

🌊 Debris may accumulate due to the large runoff. If that happens, crews will work to remove it quickly, which will require the public to give them room to work. The falls can still be viewed from a distance.
🌊 Use extreme caution: rocks are slick, water is swift and covered hazards exist in the pools
🌊 Park in designated areas only
🌊 Use the appropriate pay station to pay your entrance fee
🌊 Recreate responsibly: use restrooms and trash cans
