Surprise, I hired a virtual assistant!

I am going all in with this side hustle. I can see it being something that will work SO WELL with my schedule as a busy mom, give me multiple income streams in itself, and allow me to scale my earnings over time.

To me, hiring a VA and taking the risk was totally worth it. I have so many friends in this niche that have done well with it on their own. Excited to see how it works out for me!

Focus groups are my most lucrative and my most enjoyed side hustle!

I’ve been doing them for 9 months now, and that’s still the truth. They are a great side hustle for SAHMs and pay super well! I made $1,300 in my first month, only worked about 10 hours, and spent around 30 minutes each day filling out screeners.

I went from “I didn’t make enough money this week” to “I made money this week” and I couldn’t be prouder of myself.

I struggled with this mindset a lot in the beginning of this account. Actually, I still struggled with it even a month ago! It’s so sad, because I couldn’t even be excited when I did make a lot of money in a week. I was too hard on myself and failed to appreciate my accomplishments no matter how small.

Do me a favor - whether you’re a mom or not, I know you have a lot going on. Celebrate your accomplishments no matter how small. Appreciate every step of your journey. We’re all just doing our best in this side hustle world trying to balance all of the things. 🫶

It was a slow week for me, but I know how many of you out there would kill for an extra $200 a week. I am grateful for the big weeks AND the small, and for once, I truly mean that!

You should be too! Don’t beat yourself up if you have a slower week. We can’t hustle 24/7, and there are plenty of other things in your life that are much more important. 🫶

It can be really discouraging to share your earnings on the weeks that they weren’t high. I think it’s so important to show the whole journey and not just the highs.

It’s so crazy to me that I’m paying off debt! I have NEVER had debt in my 30 years of life. I’m deathly afraid of it, tbh.

This was definitely necessary to take on and I’m so, so happy we have a reliable car for our family now
