Friday morning we will be broadcasting our live radio show from Vernon Elementary School. Our guests will include Mrs. Sandie Parmer and Mr. Aaron Burr who will be talking about their upcoming Christmas programs, and they will each be joined by a couple of students who will share their thoughts on their show. Our This, That & The Other morning show will begin at 8:30 a.m. You can tune in to 103.1 FM or go online at network1sports.com/station/kvwc to listen. It should be a great show.

Our VES Christmas Programs are coming up soon. Our 4th & 5th grade students will present their Christmas Program on Monday, at 6:30 p.m., at the Wilbarger Auditorium, and our 2nd & 3rd grade students will take the stage for their Christmas Program on Tuesday, also at 6:30 p.m., at the Wilbarger Auditorium.

The Vernon Lions are traveling to Burkburnett this evening for a Class 3A, D1 Regional Semi-Final playoff game against the Peaster Greyhounds. We will be there to bring you all the action! We'll take the air at approximately 5:30 p.m. for our pregame show that will lead up to the 6 p.m. kickoff. Go LIONS!!!

Let's Go LIONS!!

Our Lions are still playing football and have advanced to the Class 3A, D1 Regional Semi-Final round of the playoffs!! Vernon will square off against district foe Peaster tonight at Bulldog Stadium in Burkburnett. Game time is set for 6 p.m. Vernon is the home team. Tickets are $7 and must be purchased online at: https://www.burkburnettisd.org/o/athletics/page/event-tickets
Senior Citizen passes will be accepted.

🦁 Lion Pride Parade! 🦁

The families of Vernon Lions Football invite you to join them in sending off the team FRIDAY (11/28) — GAME DAY!

Here’s the plan:
•Park along the route (below) to cheer loud, wave flags, and honk as the buses pass.
•Stay near your car to hop in and follow the buses as they head toward city limits—HONK them out of town!

Buses leave the stadium at 2:20, so be sure to arrive early and claim your spot along the route!

Route:
Lion Stadium→ Left on Yamparika → Left on Sand → Right on Wilbarger → Follow them out of town to the Wilbarger County Events Center!

Let’s send them off with a ROAR! 🦁

We will have our live morning show at 8:30. Tune in and hear about our VMS Jingle Jog and hear from Haley Bounds on the Vernon On Ice and the lighting of the Christmas lights around the square.

The Vernon Lions hit the road tonight to Canyon for a Class 3A, D1 Area playoff game against Denver City and we will be right there with them. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., at Happy State Bank Stadium, and our pregame show will start at approximately 6:30 p.m., and lead up to the kickoff. Tune in to FM 103.1 or online at network1sports.com/station/kvwc and help cheer on the Lions to the next round of the playoffs!!
Also, going to try something a little different tonight. If you have a sports questions, leave it in the comments and we will try and answer them during halftime of tonight's game. Questions posted after 5:30 p.m., may not be seen before game time.
