Read with Brie-Dolly was such a HUGE advocate of kids reading 📖 and started the Imagination Library 📚 that brought literacy to under privileged kids and I will always love her for that!!! Kids literacy is a huge part of my life too and I will always always support it any way I can. RIP beautiful Dolly 🫶

Read with Brie- Fun Fact- Did you know that Sea Lions can “Walk” on land using all four flippers?!!! They are actually very fast! Cool!

Read with Brie-I learn something everyday! Did you know that whales have different blow hole types when they they spout water from their blow holes?!! You can tell what type of whale it is simply from the water coming from their blow holes! Cool!!!

Saw this little guy 🦦 scampering on the shore on Texada Island, BC 🇨🇦 We saw him swim at bullet speed in the water, climb ashore, and scamper fast into a den. He was in a hurry for sure!!! 🫶 Did you know that River Otters link arms to help stay together especially when they sleep? Cool!!!

Summer Bucket List item ✅ We went tubing down the Cowichan River in Lake Cowichan, BC 🇨🇦

We rented tubes from The Tube Shack, tubbed for about 2.5 hours, stopped along the way for Smokies and Ice Cream at a random dock, and took the Shuttle back to our cars where we went for more ice cream 🍦 at Cowabungas to finish off the day!

I had never done this before, but I am sure glad I got to experience it! So fun!!! 🫶 What fun Summer Bucket List Item are you checking off this summer?
