With over 26,000 alumni around the globe, The Columbia School began enrolling students in the greater Washington, DC area in January 1977. Since then, many of its graduates have gone on to work in radio and television stations in the DC area, various parts of the United States, as well as abroad.

HI Myra and Kevin I recently completed a placement February 10 to February 13 at Virgin radio 📻 in Halifax NS Canada. I sent Kevin Williams a package detailing the placement. I think he received it yesterday. I hope this was enough hours for the internship. I had a great time there! If I need more hours can Kevin let me know? I hope to get my radio announcing certificate soon from the school. I attended CSB at the New Orleans branch on S. Broad street. I was NOLA 58. I worked at KJIN & KCIL FM,WHLT AM&FM, WSDL AM &FM, KDBS AM &FM and KPAL AM before I got out of broadcasting.
