✨ Over the past couple of years, I’ve had the chance to support the marketing and social media for Liberty Hall WashMo. It’s been inspiring to see Liberty Hall evolve into more than just a venue — it’s becoming a true community hub in Downtown Washington, Inc..

From their one of a kind Verein Airbnb, showcasing local artists and live performances, to hosting private events and giving entrepreneurs a place to connect, to launching the Dynamic Women Speaker Series that brings powerful conversations to our community, and now with the addition of Roux 66 Kitchen WashMo, this space has truly come alive with creativity, connection, and purpose.

Deb pulled together a strong team to help shape her vision and it's been wonderful making other friendly connections — Ashley with Simmons Strategy Solutions, Sheila coordinating weddings and private events, and Devon leading Roux 66 (all while running her own business, Shawcuterie Gourmet Grazing 🧀).

If you need makeup, lashes, body waxing or a skincare guru to chat with, I know a girl!

Some projects turn into friendships, and this one is no exception. When Christine asked me to help brainstorm Christine Newton Beauty, last year, and revamp her online presence, I thought I was just there to bring ideas to the table and run the backend of her business. But in the process, she taught me so much about the beauty industry.

Christine doesn’t just apply makeup and provide skincare service; she understands what and why each product works and how it complements every unique face she touches. There’s always a reason behind what she does, and that’s why her clients trust her—and why I quickly did too. 🖤

Christine has been thriving for years without needing social media or online marketing—her business has grown because of the relationships she's built and the trust she’s earned. I was just lucky enough to help showcase her incredible talent as she opened her new space in Downtown Washington, Inc., and expanded into more weddings across Missouri. 💍✨

Through it all, we discovered that sometimes the simplest tools work best. We explored digital bookings but realized that Christine's paper-and-pen calendar was still the winner for her and her clients—and that’s okay! The website we created is clean, easy to navigate, and packed with all the details about her services, while her social media keeps up with her latest work.

Christine’s main location is now inside Prisma MedSpa & Esthetics, and I’m beyond proud of the work we did together. But even more than that, I’m thankful for the friendship we built. 💕

Creating logos is one of my favorite things to do, and I love turning my clients' visions into reality. Typically, clients come with a clear idea of what they want, but Brooke's project was a unique and extra fun experience!

Brooke wasn't sure what she wanted at first, so we dove right into my favorite part: getting to know her and her business. Inspired by Psalms 127:3-5, which describes children as valuable as arrows to a soldier, Brooke's dedication to her home, family, and expanding her homestead truly inspired me.

She shared her mission to create a better life for her kids by everything she is doing and sharing within her business. I knew instantly that her logo needed a personal touch, representing her little family and farm.

Today marks the 30th anniversary of my adoption and arrival in America from India. It has been full of blessings and unforgettable moments. I find a beautiful connection between my adoption and a total eclipse 🌖 today, symbolizing the merging of two worlds and the birth of a new life. Through the darkness of uncertainty, I emerged into a life filled with love, opportunities, and endless possibilities. I am forever grateful for the love and support of my mom, dad, brother, sister, and family who have been my guiding light. This journey has shaped me into the person I am today, embracing both my Indian past and the American life. Even in the darkest moments, there is always light, reminding us of the power of love, resilience, and the possiblity of new beginnings.
