My oldest gave me her journal for Valentine's Day! Yesss her journal included many entries about me and they were all so pleasant so to show her mom, love yesterday she shared her thoughts with me!

When I say this is the ultimate reassurance that God deserves all the glory in ordering my steps in parenting her I'm speechless! To be a Mother-less and widowed mother of 5 and have your oldest not only journal about you positively on numerous occasions but to share them (Big trust!) with you as a gift of love to remind me that she's watching and loving the process of Mom growing and loving on her still has me in awe!

I love you, Londyn and proud of the young woman you're becoming! πŸ«°πŸΎπŸ’ž

My babies are definitely equally yoked and I love that for us!

Even Moms on budgets make it happen for their kids! They said Yess to being my Valentine every year thus far and I will continue to show up for them even in their Dad's absence! He was the 1st who set the standard of showing them what intentional pouring into them on this day felt like and should be!

I took these pictures of them before they left for school today and had them printed before they came home to make these place mat covers with Amazon rings with their fav colors to dress the table for dinner I have planned for them in our home. I gave them the time and the materials to dress up in their fav dresses and expect them to be on time as I will dressed in my best to greet them and shower them with love... Posting the results tomorrow of how the night went.

SN: My 2nd oldest is missing out this year. (Breaks my heart) We are redirecting in Love and sometimes you have to let them see how much we do from the outside looking in. I promised myself I wouldn't cave- Y'all lift me up... If you know me, you know showering my kids is my love language and I like to be the example of God's love who constantly forgives... He ✝️ told me to step aside this time and I trust him!
