Devastating Earthquake Strikes Myanmar and Thailand: Hundreds Feared Dead

A powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Southeast Asia today, causing widespread destruction across Myanmar and Thailand. The quake's epicenter was near Mandalay, Myanmar's second-largest city, leading to the collapse of buildings and infrastructure. In Myanmar, at least 144 people have been confirmed dead, with over 700 injured. A state of emergency has been declared in six regions.
