Author Sarah Scheele

Author Sarah Scheele Sarah Scheele. Author of Fun, Family-Friendly Fiction for Young Adults (And Any Adults Who Want to Read It.)

Sarah Scheele spent her childhood on a third-generation family farm in Texas, where she still lives. She was homeschooled long before other people had even heard of the idea, got a B.A. in Literature and Languages more years ago than she cares to mention, and spends her days surrounded by big blue skies, winding gravel roads, and a very full library. A larger percentage of that library is in ebook

form since she's always had a secret love of technology. She manages the family farm/homeschooling household (think housekeeper with a boatload of opinions, only some of which have anything to do with her job) and that has been her first and only career. For anybody curious, she is not married and hasn't dated much, and before you start feeling all sorry for her, rest assured she doesn't feel the least bit sorry for herself. Her repertoire of young adult fiction titles is divided into four series. Writing was always a side hustle until the last couple of years when she stopped creating books and began to examine how to market existing ones and improve their presentation. 2023 saw the beginning of the publication of complete editions for her series.

Whether you use Amazon, B&N, Kobo, smaller independent bookstores, or your local library, it's easy to find Sarah's ebooks online. Paperback and hardcover books are available through Amazon. Listings on retailers are accurate, but some data on review and promotion sites (such as Goodreads and BookBub) may reflect older versions of the books than the ones currently in print as these sites keep information for a long time and don't often update it.

My sister wanted to watch Inuyasha because I had seen bits of it almost 20 years ago. It's nice to see the whole series in order instead of random hopping as I did back then. But it does feel like a REALLY long time since I first watched it. 😅

Enjoying the spring right now! Behind me are these cute little decorative spoons we found in a cheap website. I'd never hung things like this on the wall before and they look great 😍

I accidentally planted a daylily that I thought was garlic. It was in the garlic plants by mistake. I thought it would be yellow because of picture on container. But it's PURPLE. And now it has 1 lone flower that shot up about a foot taller than rest of plant! 😄 's will

Going through old photos on my phone has been insane. I do not clean these enough! The photos go years back. 🤣 Uploading to storage, restoring accidental deletions, moving to secondary storage when 1st storage gets full... It's been literally days.

I have always struggled with fingernails and polish because I didn't learn good techniques as a kid. Nails chip and fall away quickly and I get embarrassed about it. I'm getting better. These are very pretty today. Let's see how long they last. 😜 design

As I work through piano music, old and new, I think my playing is improved. I hear nuances a lot better. And it's weird-feeling to find a really old piece like from an anime 20 years ago. "Did I actually download that?" Life is so different now.

Many authors use their website as a sales platform. I didn't know how to direct more traffic there. Soon I will launch website-only story content and also sell existing books there. Every day I learn something new. 🙂

Tomorrow is Easter! I look forward to going to church and seeing family there for the first time in over a year. We don't attend together at the same place and time much anymore, but I hope that will change this year. Easter is about hope and new beginnings. 😉

Fantastic spring weather out here. For a few weeks before and after Easter it's always lovely and green everywhere. I'd rather be a tree nymph than a flower fairy, because our trees stay pretty and green longer. 😄 But right now both are SO pretty.

I've learned there are numerous descriptive phrases that actually urge me not to get a book. This isn't to criticize these authors, who might be writing really well in their genres. I'm just amazed how MANY subgenres and plot twists I don't like. 😂
