Looking for better Wi-Fi coverage? We have a great solution.

Are you looking for better Wi-Fi coverage? While a single access point that is optimally placed can adequately cover most smaller and medium sized homes, a larger house or one built with dense walls, multiple floors, metal ceilings, concrete floors, radiant floor heating, etc. may require a mesh solution for full Wi-Fi coverage. Our Whole Home Wi-Fi uses multiple access points placed at strategic locations around your home to expand coverage and eliminate dead-spots. Visit http://www.wcvt.com/services/wi-fi/residential or contact Richard at 496-8360 or [email protected] to learn more.

Shout out to a service industry which I consider to be a very crucial essential service. We found ourselves without internet today; which under normal circumstances would be a small nuisance however between my need to access my work via computer, for our family to stay informed and connected to the world, and to have movie night happen (normalcy and sanity) - thank you to Waitsfield Telecom for coming out to our house and quickly diagnosing and fixing the loose wire issue. Internet access is so important now for everyone. Thank you for coming to work.
Cable out yet again; anyone else having issues?
What's up with not being able to get email today?
Waitsfield Telecom, will you be lowering your flag out of respect for Senator John McCain? "As a mark of respect for the memory and longstanding service of Senator John Sidney McCain III, I hereby order, by the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and upon all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions until sunset, on the day of interment. I also direct that the flag shall be flown at half‑staff for the same period at all United States embassies, legations, consular offices, and other facilities abroad, including all military facilities and naval vessels and stations. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-seventh day of August, in the year of our Lord two thousand eighteen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-third." DONALD J. TRUMP
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Waitsfield & Champlain Valley Telecom family. RIP Gregg.
So sorry to hear about Gregg. He will be dearly missed.
A big shout out to Waitsfield Telecom (WCVT) for bringing fiber optic internet to those of us up Mansfield Road. It’s just amazing to have the option of speeds as fast as 1 gigabit/s and yet still be able to live in the middle of nowhere. Thank you to Trevor and Bobby (who did the install and who have spent countless hours trouble shooting my copper-wire connection prior to the advent of fiber in our neighborhood), Jada (who helped me cut back on my landline service so that 500 Mbps internet is costing me a mere $10 more than I used to pay for phone + 12 Mbps service), and Jim and crew who brought service up the road (all the while answering my incessant question, “where’s my fiber?”). Now, audiobooks that took me hours to download come down in less than a minute, WCAX streaming video no longer stutters, and even downloading movies from iTunes takes very little time. Anyone who has doubts about the value of fiber and has a chance to try it out, really should give it a try. It’s THAT much better. Seriously, the things we take for granted from WCVT just don’t happen in most phone/internet/cable markets. Even before we got fiber, I still had service here in the boonies that was twice as fast as what I had within the city limits of Columbia, MO—a city of 100,000 and home to the flagship campus of the University of Missouri System—at essentially the same price. And when I used to have problems with dropouts/timeouts (a function of how far we are from the nearest repeater), I knew I’d be getting knowledgeable and dedicated service people (yup, Trevor and Bobby!) up here right away to fix the problem. So unlike the non-service I got from my ISP in COMO. Even more amazing is the fact that we did not have to pay WCVT a dime to get fiber installed. Not one single red cent. When was the last time anyone who’s lived in an urban or suburban market can say that? Free installation? Unheard of. No, I don’t work for WCVT, but I DO appreciate the fact that they still take care of their customers the same way they did 110 years ago when they first brought phone service to the Valley. We are SO lucky to still have a truly local phone/internet/cable company. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
