CAN YOU HELP FIND BLAIR PRESSER? Barbara Cohen-Presser
6 hrs · Walnut ·
An update: there is still no word on the whereabouts of our daughter, Blair. Thank you to everyone who posted, shared, and re-shared the post yesterday. I was hesitant to post about this nightmare on Facebook, but thought about it, and the potential of the story reaching a very large audience, which it did. So many people I know as well as complete strangers, have shared this post and gave so much help, from sharing to offers for flyers and other forms of help, came to the rescue. Thank you for your phone calls, offers of service and visits for which I am truly, truly grateful.
Here is what I have done so far, and you can tell me if there is anything else recommended. Every day since Wednesday, I have gone out looking for her, driving around, and stopping in places she likes, asking questions if anyone has seen her. She has no money, so I am not sure how she got so far, but I believe she is outside of Walnut now. I fear that she may need her medication, and be unable to respond properly. Her phone seems to be turned off completely. Also, I have made a missing person's report, call the local police stations every day and ask if they have picked her up or a Jane Doe, since she left without identification. I have called all hospitals and institutions, put up flyers (thank you Abraham and Denise Aguilar, and have notified the media. Someone suggested I write a local newspaper, but I cannot find that information. If you can give it to me again, I will be grateful. Today, someone is going to call homeless shelters. And of course, everyone is praying. Can anyone think of anything else I can do, which is proactive? Would it help to call places of worship?
Thank you all again from my heart for all your kindness and support. There are so many good people out there My fear is that Blair may be unable to call or ask for help because of her physical or mental condition, and she is not receiving her medication, or because she is fragile, someone is taking advantage of her. I miss Blair very much, and waking up without her here is painful, to say the least. Blessings to you all and your families.Let us hope with the beginning of the new month comes hope and that Blair is brought home safely.
