Allen Township Dog Park reopens, residents expected to play their part - The Home News

Since the park was closed, there has been backlash by township and county residents. Some have called the township, arguing that it is the job of public works to clean up the dog waste or monitor the visitors. Eckhart and supervisors said it is not, and that tax dollars should not be used to “watch other people’s dogs.”

The park had originally been closed for a bench installa...

I subscribe to "The Home News" solely for the purpose of being informed as to what is happening in our area. I was happy to see coverage of the East Allen Township voting NO to the Rockefeller Group proposal to rezone for warehouses. However, where was the coverage of the Allen Township meeting held two days prior to that? There was standing room only at the meeting held at the Allen Township Fire Hall.
