The Home News Since 1942. The newspaper was founded by the Halbfoerster Family in December of 1942 and was published through three generations of family ownership.

The Home News has been published weekly since 1942 and is a general circulation and paid-subscription newspaper with 52 issues per year - please see our Publication Schedule. The Home News is a community paper that serves readers in and around the boroughs of Bath, Northampton and Nazareth, and the townships of Allen, Bushkill, East Allen, Lehigh, Moore, Lower & Upper Nazareth. The Home News has b

een owned by Paul & Lisa Prass of Innovative Designs & Publishing, Inc since April, 2008. The Home News is family-oriented with local, informative, educational and newsworthy items. From our front page headlines with municipal and school coverage, to: editorial opinion and comment; family and social pages; sports and outdoors; senior citizens activities; church listings and news; obituaries; civic organizations; sports teams, and the sales and services our local merchants provide. The newspaper is intended to be a resource for the local community. The content is local news, especially the kind of news that the daily papers will not print, including news that will help public service organizations including churches, schools, clubs, and other nonprofit organizations. The Publication is mailed out to paid subscribers and sold at several Distribution Locations.
