Today is Thursday April 25th, 2024 and for now, I need to pump the brakes on podcasting for a little while as I’m returning to school at work for the next 9 months or so. I simply cannot make time for this hobby and focus and concentrate on schoolwork at the same time. In the weeks ahead I’ll need to zero in all of my efforts to doing well in the classroom as I prepare for the final 10 or 15 years of my working life.

I still have many stories to tell, poems and short stories to share and there is much stupidity and idiocy to be told still, but it’ll have to wait for another day.

This podcast was born on November 8th, 2023, and I’ve churned out 57 episodes in the last 5 months and it’s been a lot of fun dusting off old stories as well as writing new ones and keeping my brain occupied. It felt good to purge some of those episodes out of my system…kind of like flushing a toilet after a solid bowel movement.

This isn’t the end of my shallow thoughts, but merely an intermission while I transition my career forward. It just needs to be put on hiatus for now so I can give 100% to my studies. I’m glad to have started this podcast, thanks in part to my dearest friend on the planet who has motivated me to begin this journey of sharing my thoughts in the digital world of podcasting. She is the one responsible for lighting the fire underneath me and influenced me to try something I’ve never done before or even thought about. Thank you for pushing me…you know who you are.

Thanks to all the people who have tuned in to Shallow Thoughts and Deep S**t over the past 5 months. I appreciate all who’ve listened and commented and took the time to rate the show and followed it. I hope to get back to it before the year is out but if not, will surely be churning out new episodes in 2025. I have so much more to share and hopefully I can finish what I started here. I’m looking forward to picking up where I left off.
