A Grosse Pointe City sewer project had to be moved to this week after it was found that a different repair method was needed.
Grosse Pointe Woods residents and their guests are invited to the city’s first Spring Fest from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 30 at Ghesquiere Park, behind the Woods City Hall complex at 20025 Mack Plaza. The event will include a kid’s dance party, photo booth, pony rides, a petting zoo, karate demonstrations from Zanshin and a make-and-take craft from the Grosse Pointe Public Library. In addition, superheroes will be on hand to meet with children, and items from local eateries Estia and Saucy’s will be available for purchase. For more information, visit
