First Responders Dinner September 10th 4-7 p.m. Reese-Hyman Post 96 of The American Legion, First Baptist Warrenton Ladies Group, the Little Brier Creek Baptist Church, and the Burkhalter Chapter of the DAR are hosting an Appreciation Dinner for Warren and Glascock County First Responders at the Warrenton First Baptist Church Family Center this Saturday. Please tell all our wonderful First Responders that we'd like to honor their service with a free dinner.

The Reese-Hyman Post 96 of The American Legion members chipped in to host Juliette Girl Scouts from Augusta and Evans who visited the site for The Magic Ticket Film that starts shooting today. Patricia Hambsch, Commander of the Legion, led the girls to the film site where they met and learned from director Lena Krivosheyeva and Director of Photography J. Søren Viuf. Most people paid attention to the Governor urging people to wear masks, and the President saying it was the patriotic thing to do to help stem the spread of COVID-19.
