Made it out here to the river to give it a try. What is up with boats moving over as close to shore as they can and revving the motor as they go past? Well it works ok so far. I feel it needs more belly weight but we shall see 😂. Off to some ponds.

Rough ultralight/bfs wake prototype I'm messing with. 1.25" and 2.5" with the tail, comes in at 2g. I really wanna remove the tail and put a hook 😂.
Lessons so far I think the center hook needs to go forward some if I'm adding a rear hook, I also feel it's pretty light and I feel it needs a small rattle. I also think it's pretty wide so small bass would be fine but IdK about gills. Imma swim test it tonight. And see how it swims maybe I can get one on it 🎣 😆

Gotta love catching some gills on ultralight. I'm thinking to get a XUL set up just for fun 😂
