COALIFIED OAK STUMP SHATTERS THE MILLIONS OF YEARS STORY

In 1967, workers digging a foundation pit for the Kanivska hydroelectric power station in Ukraine uncovered something evolutionists never expected. Sixty five feet down in alluvial sand lay an oak tree stump. That depth alone would normally guarantee an automatic claim of great age because secular dating always ties the age of an object to the supposed age of the layers surrounding it.

But this find carried a problem that the deep time timeline could not escape. This stump had clear axe marks on its cut surface. Someone chopped this tree down. If slow geological processes like carbonization and petrification truly took millions of years, these markings should be gone. They should not exist at all.

According to evolutionary thinking, humans with metal tools only appeared about 200,000 years ago. According to their timeline, a coalified stump with unmistakable axe marks buried under sixty five feet of sediment simply should not be there.

Yet there it was.

Even the museum explanation admits that the stump was carbonized like any other wood would be under the right conditions, but the axe marks force a different conclusion. The age of the stump is not determined by imaginary millions. It is determined by the presence of human technology. Metal axes in that region appear no earlier than about three thousand years ago. That is the true age of the stump.

This single find exposes the weakness of dating by sediment depth, shows that catastrophic processes can carbonize wood rapidly, and tears down the evolutionary timeline that demands long ages. Whenever real evidence speaks, it points back to a young earth and a history that fits Scripture perfectly.
