** 5 THINGS TO SEE/DO IN DC’S UNION STATION **
Washington DC’s Union Station is a transportation hub for the nation’s capital. All the buses & trains come through here, along with being the headquarters for Amtrak. Over 70,000 people go through this station everyday including travelers from here & far. There are times where you are on Amtrak and either on layover or delay and you need things to do. Here are 5 things that you can do while you are waiting at DC’s Union Station.
1. Go Shopping
2. Eat & Relax at the Food Court
3. Walk Around The Main Hall
4. Check out the US Postal Museum
5. Go out front to see the Arches.

Chip City () is a fast-growing, New York-born dessert chain famous for its massive, thick, and ooey-gooey cookies. Founded in Queens in 2017, the bakery offers over 40 rotating flavors—from classics like chocolate chip to unique varieties like blueberry cheesecake and s'mores. I discovered them while in Tyson’s Corner Mall in Virginia looking for a sweet tooth to end my lunch with.
I got four cookies, Cinnamon Bun, S’Mores, Confetti Birthday, and Chocolate Chip. They were moist, soft, warm, and delicious. Like I needed a glass of milk after having these cookies. While researching this, I saw that they have over 40 locations in the Tri-State Area, Massachusetts, Texas, and Virginia. Plus also they ship nationwide. So, if you want to send some of these cookies to your friends in other states, you can do that too.

** SPACE CENTER HOUSTON **
How can a visit to Space City be complete without a tour of the Space Center Houston? You have to go here & just enjoy the history of the epicenter of the human’s greatest adventure. Located about 15 minutes outside of downtown Houston, the Space Center Houston is the official visitor’s center. The Smithsonian museum is 250,000 square feet (23,000 square meters) and displays over 400 space artifacts, including the Mercury 9, Gemini 5, and Apollo 17 flown space capsules and the only space shuttle visitors can walk inside.
Space Center Houston is also the home of the Independence Plaza exhibit complex. This attraction contains the world's only high-fidelity Space Shuttle replica, where it stands mounted on one of the two original shuttle carrier aircraft. It’s about 3 floors of exhibits inside the space shuttle and seeing all the logistics of how it works, along with what’s inside. I will recommend seeing it from top to bottom.
They also have regularly scheduled tram tours to see the various parts of the area including NASA Headquarters, Mission Control, and Rocket Park where you can see the Saturn V rocket, along with the mission where the Saturn V was a vital part of it. For the tram tours, you need to get tickets for. Therefore, get there early to grab the early spots because they do fill up quickly. Overall, I would definitely recommend it for a half to three quarters day. Go there after an early breakfast and then be back by dinner. The biggest thing that I have a problem with is that there’s no public transit option there. You either take a rideshare/taxi or take your own rental car. Other than that, definitely worth the visit.

When I started my travels, I didn’t know what I was in for and didn’t know what to pack. It was not until I came upon the situation itself where I needed said thing that I created a list of things that I need in order to really travel. It’s gotten so routine that I have separate items that are just for my travels. Here are 5 things that I refuse to travel without.
1. Headphones
2. Apple Airtags
3. Power Banks
4. Long Power Cords & Blocks
5. Comfortable, Broken-In Shoes
