As we say goodbye to Michael Cacioppo (Publisher of Business Briefs), I am fulfilling a promise to continue his legacy of providing a voice to those who are unheard, and the small businesses that support this community and great nation.

I have registered the “Rocky Mountain News” with the Colorado Secretary of State, to begin publishing this fall. While I am clearing any potential legal conflicts in reviving the publication, I am honored to continue its great heritage of being the “Scrappy Rocky” which was Colorado’s first newspaper and endured 150-years. We aim to honor its reputation.

We will begin publication in Vail, then expand to include other mountain communities, which will bring back memories of its rugged beginnings.

Join us in making history this fall! We are seeking contributors, advertisers, and sponsors who believe that Colorado history has inspired a nation, and the best is yet to come.

We were on hiatus, awaiting pandemic conditions. The wait is over!

While magazines are closing up and those owned by newspapers are asking for donations, Celebrate Vail is about to launch its premiere issue online, with some amazing capabilities for advertisers, and at its original goal of keeping it local... both in content interest and pricing. We don’t give up... we adapt and move forward, stronger than before! Stay tuned!
