Hola! 🧡 . My name is Celia Camacho and I'm the founder of .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▫️I was born in . My mother is Nicaraguan and my father is Mexican, so I identify myself as Nica-Mexican. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▫️I love ALL THINGS FOOD - My story with food is a long one to tell, but in short: My mom owned restaurants her whole life and is an incredible cook. My dad is a former Mexican diplomat, who with my mom, raised me in 6 different countries before the age of 16, and took me on the amazing life adventure of exploring cultures, touring food markets and making delicious dishes as I grew up. I lived in Nicaragua, Israel, Rumania, Mexico, Haiti and Dominican Republic.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▫️At the age of 16, I moved back to Nicaragua. Graduated from college as a Hospitality Major and then moved to Argentina to get an MBA specialized in Advertising and Corporate Communications. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▫️My work experience stems from the marketing and entertainment industry: 10+ years of experience in advertising, digital marketing, event planning, tv & film production.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▫️I started my career as a tv host in Nicaragua and Argentina, where I developed skills in storytelling and production. I then stepped into the corporate world and worked with two of the largest telecommunications companies in Latin America: as their Corporate Events Coordinator and was then recruited by Nicaragua to be the Account Director for , leading the brand's nation-wide advertising campaigns for 3 years.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▫️In 2014 I co-founded an events production agency called The Plan which gave me the opportunity to work with brands like The , films like Big Brother Volcano and organizations like .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▫️In 2018, I married and moved to the US and started independently consulting for hospitality and lifestyle brands. Fast Forward 2020 - I founded .

⚡️Proud to be a business owned and directed by a woman who is latina. It's our power. It's our magic. And of course , 😉⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When you work with Nunchi, you're not only supporting a small business owner - you're supporting a woman who has worked very hard to get to where she is today - Not only as an entrepreneur but as an immigrant from Nicaragua who has had to go through countless nights of writing and filing applications in order to be able to work here in the US.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When we say that we care about what we do, WE MEAN IT 〰️because we know how hard it is to get to where we are today - and we know that everything we do is a representation of where we come from. So trust us when we say that nothing drives us and inspires us more than our own journey - and we don't take anything for granted. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This was a quick sesh with for ’s social media content and yes, we have to admit that we devoured this pie the second we were done photographing it. 😜

Cocktail / Beverage photography is so much fun, but requires a lot of planning, detail, patience, and believe it or not - speed. There’s something about liquids, glass, REAL ice and garnishes that is so entertaining and creates layers to great composition.

Photos can be simple (like this one) where you let one or two components drive the emotion, or they can be complex and filled with props that tell a story.

Not matter the style you’re going for, here are a few general tips for great cocktail or beverage photography:

▫️Decide your concept & select a surface that is right. Make sure the surface is clean and the colors go well with the desired results. For example if your desired style is clean, bright and minimal, you probably wont want to work on dark wood - you might want a solid or light colored surface instead.

▫️Plan ahead 〰️ start arranging everything for your photo and use an empty glass where the drink would go in the photo - this way you can have the composition ready and replace the empty vessel with the real cocktail / drink once your are ready to shoot. Remember, drinks don’t last too long! So planning and being ready with everything else in place and with your camera in focus is super important - Ice melts and loses shape, condensation starts looking messy and getting surfaces wet, garnishes sink or loose their freshness, bubbly drinks will lose their fizz and go flat, so yes - you have to be ready and act fast. (Use a tripod)

▫️Make sure the lighting comes from the side and not from the front. It’s also good to have a small light come from behind the drink so the liquids pop even more.

▫️Make sure you pay attention to detail before you shoot. That means making sure surfaces are clean. No dust on props or glasses, no fingerprints or lint. You don’t want to spend time shooting, to then, go and have to spend time on extra editing correcting things you could have avoided in the first place.

▫️Have fun and don’t be afraid of experimenting with what you have at hand. Sometimes a simple piece of fabric or anything around you can become a key piece to creating the mood and add layers to your photo.

If you’re wondering where the inspiration to our brand name came from, this is it ✨ Nunchi is a Korean concept signifying the subtle art and ability to listen and gauge others' moods. It is the art of understanding what people are thinking and feeling.

The word itself roughly translates to “eye-measure”, a sort of sizing-up, not of individuals but of the overall context and atmosphere of a situation.

The goal is not “good” nunchi, but rather “quick” nunchi 〰️ the ability to rapidly process changing social information.

We believe that this represented our mission in a nutshell 〰️ understanding the surroundings not only for ourselves, but most importantly for each of the brands we work with. Working effectively and harmoniously to have a positive impact, while using data to succeed in any social environment.

You see them everywhere on social media, and you probably use them yourself, but do you know how to get the most out of hashtags and how to properly have a strategy around them?

Using relevant, targeted hashtags on your posts and stories is still one of the best ways to get discovered by new audiences on Instagram and this can translate into more engagement, more followers, and more customers for your business.

#️⃣ What to consider?
Before starting to use hashtags, it is important that you ask yourself a few things.

❔Start with asking if the hashtag describes your business, the purpose of your account or your ideal audience?

❔Second, is this something your ideal audience would search for? Put yourself in their shoes and ask yourself how would you search for what you offer.

❔Have you studied your competitors and top influencers to find the hashtags their using? Have your made sure to understand the field your playing? This is a good place to start if you’re looking for ideas.

❔Finally, is the hashtag you want to use popular or niche? You might ask why this is important. And it’s simple: Hashtags are like a live directory - when people use them, they get populated into the hashtag feed. So the reason it’s better to choose a hashtag with less than 500K posts is because your content is then more likely to stay seen. If you are using a hashtag that has over 1M posts, it will be a very fast-moving hashtag and your content is likely to get buried as soon as it’s posted.

〰️ This doesn’t mean that you should never use the popular and trendiest hashtags, but make sure you mix them with other smaller ones that are niche and relevant to your industry and location.

#️⃣ Other things to consider:

▫️Quality is better than quantity. You don’t need to use 30 hashtags in every post. It’s more effective to use between 3 to 8 hashtags by choosing them wisely, and alternating them depending on your image.

▫️You can add hashtags to either the post caption or the comments. But make sure if you decide to post them on the comments to have them ready (to copy and paste) as soon as you post so you don’t loose the momentum and extra engagement you get when you hit publish.

Did you also know that chocolate ice cream was invented before vanilla? 🧐 Vanilla was actually considered a rare and exotic flavor back in the 1700’s.

Ice cream is definitely a comfort food so it comes to no surprise that according to statistics, around 90% of Americans have ice cream in their freezers! 😱 So eat up and start celebrating! It’s extra hot outside, so you have a good excuse! 😉
