there are moments that remind you why you started doing this in the first place.
hearing Leanh play music that and i made together was one of them.
i think it’s really important as a dj to occasionally get out from behind the decks and back onto the dance floor. hearing your colleagues play, watching how they build a room, experiencing music the way the crowd experiences it, and just letting yourself have fun gives you a completely different perspective.
there is always something to learn from other artists. nights like this give me new ideas, new inspiration, and help me continue refining my own skills and craft.
and then, of course, there’s the pretty incredible feeling of hearing someone you respect play something you created.
