Baby Haven Greyson's Angels

Baby Haven Greyson's Angels Baby Haven Greyson born New Year's Day - 25 weeks, 6 days IUGR. Haven's Angels are his amazing community supporters. Big Announcement!!!

At birth he weighed 410 grams (less than a pound) and was the smallest Micro-Preemie born at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in 2019. Haven was finally granted the supporter button! This means for less than the cost of coffee a month, you could help Haven’s reach his next goal of getting form fitted transition glasses he can wear with his helmet. Angels because of your generous support we just

purchased Haven his brand new prescription glasses and frames, a sensory swing for indoors and Haven can now afford to go for a full month to private music therapy specially for medically complex kids!! Our next goal is aid in Haven’s medical expenses. There are a lot of consumable medical supplies that aren’t covered by insurance for our sweet Haven. Covatec Stomahesive Protective Powder, Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film Spray, Mederma Kids Skin Care for Scars, Nitrile and Vinyl Blend Material Disposable Gloves, Solimo 99% Isopropyl Alcohol For Technical Use, Hand Sanitizer, 6 Inch Long Cotton Swabs and LEVOIT Air Purifier LV-H133 Replacement Filter, H13 True HEPA and Activated Carbon Filters Set are just some of those necessary monthly items. Haven needs them for his pulmonary hypertension, skin breakdowns, oxygen support, to prevent infections, for scar therapy, medical interventions, etc. They cost over $300.00 extra a month. Haven needs 63 more supporters to help cover the cost of these items. Come on Angels - I know we can do it! I have been floored by blessings after blessing that I didn’t think possible. They say trust in God and all will be taken care of. Faith is found in the darkest of places, and Angels you prove to me everyday that the Miracle of Haven is a message worth continuing to spread. Thank you for your love, prayers and all the types of support you bring to Haven’s journey in this life. By being a supporter you gain access to exclusive content and more live videos where you can interact and have more special interactions with Haven and Mamma. You also will get a Supporter Badge next to your name on all your posts on Haven’s page. Finally, you will gain access to our private Haven’s posts where we can share in a more private manner all the more personal things about Haven’s journey and topics we might not want out on a big public setting. Being a supporter is entirely optional and we want to take the time to thank all our Haven’s Angels for all your love, prayers and continued support. We will continue to share Haven’s light in this world regardless if you can help support or not. We love you and couldn’t make this journey without you. Thank you for all you do in liking our posts, sharing beautiful comments and sharing our community of Angels and this page to others.

My surgery went well 🙏🏻. I’m definitely in a bit of pain today, but I have faith that the results will come back benign. We won’t know for about 1½–2 weeks, so we’re holding onto hope and prayers until then.

In the middle of all this, we’re going through a lot of transitions. Haven is coping in his own way; he’s been showing some new self-harming behavior (SIB), like punching his lower face over and over. We believe it’s more of a sensory stim, and we’re working really hard to gently replace it with something safer for him. Whether it’s waking up, celebrating a win, or just seeing something exciting on his iPad, this new stim has been showing up everywhere. It’s hard, but we are learning and growing together. 💙

The biggest transition of all is coming in just a few weeks… and we can’t wait to share our uplifting news with you then. ✨

Thank you all for your prayers, love, and support; it truly carries us through.

(Pictured is Haven’s chin bruised from continuing to hit himslf 😢)

Prayers please, sweet Angels 👼

This morning I’m heading into surgery to have my breast tumor removed. Haven doesn’t fully understand why Mamma won’t be able to do our precious “mamma bed cuddles” for a little while, or why I won’t be able to lift him but he knows love surrounds us. 💙

We’ll get the results in two weeks, and until then we are choosing faith over fear. Haven and I have walked through so many storms together, and every time we’ve come out stronger. 🌈

Please keep us in your prayers for comfort, healing, and brighter days ahead. Thank you for lifting us up with your love and light as always.💖

Six years ago, I was told my son had less than a 10% chance of life. Six years ago, I was living at the Ronald McDonald House, having left my job to sit beside him in the NICU. Six years ago, I had no idea how we would make it; only that I had to keep holding on to hope…

And now, that hope has carried us to a place I never dared dream we’d stand.

They say miracles aren’t destined to happen… but maybe, just maybe, they are. Haven is proof of this time and time again.

Stay close. The next chapter is about to unfold. ❤️

Today in OT, Haven had a big adventure! ✨

He dressed up as Bumblebee (one of his favorites!) working to do it all by himself (still needs support) and then practiced taking the costume off; working hard on his fine motor and dressing skills. 💪🐝

After that, he checked out a fun new Baby Shark fishing game 🎣🦈 to practice hand-eye coordination and focus. He was so curious, studying the box before diving in!

Next up… physical therapy to keep building his strength and balance. This boy is nonstop determination and heart. 💛

We are so proud of you, Haven!

We are all done and heading home thank you all for your prayers and always being here for us! 💗🌹

Our little warrior can’t seem to catch a break 💔 Haven’s Broviac line broke open this morning. This is the second time we’ve had to face a repair, and as many of you know, his line is his lifeline for nutrition and medication. We’re back at the hospital ER so the doctors can fix it and make sure he stays safe from infection.

Haven looked at me and said, “We go hospital.” 💔 That’s his understanding of what’s happening and it breaks my heart that this is such a normal part of his little life. He’s so brave, but he’s only six. No child should have to know hospitals this way.

As his mom, watching him endure procedure after procedure takes a huge emotional toll. Some days it feels like too much for both of us, yet somehow we keep pushing forward together.

Please keep Haven in your prayers for a smooth repair and no complications. Your love and encouragement Angels 👼 help carry us through more than you know. 💙🙏

Our sweet boy is completely worn out today. Between the therapies, hospital visits, and all the energy he puts into just being his amazing self, sometimes it all catches up with him. He gave it his all, and now he’s resting hard.

Even on the tough days, he amazes us with his strength and resilience. He may be exhausted, but he’s still our little warrior. 💙✨

TPN Tuesday Update 💛

Every Tuesday, Haven heads to the hospital for his Broviac dressing change, part of our new normal since last fall. For those who may not know, a Broviac line goes straight to the heart, delivering lifesaving nutrition through TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition).

After a difficult 56-day hospital stay last year due to his body’s inability to properly digest food through his feeding tube and stomach, this line has been a game-changer. Since starting TPN, Haven has finally been gaining weight, so much so that we’ve actually had to reduce his TPN a few times. His body is getting the nutrition it’s needed for so long, and we’re so thankful for that progress. 🙏

He’s six years old now, old enough to remember being at the hospital so much. This has been a hard journey, but we’re doing everything we can to make it gentler. We’re hoping to start doing his dressing changes at home soon with the help of our nurse. It’s a scary step, changing a dressing around an open line that leads to the heart is not something we take lightly. But if it means less trauma and fewer hospital visits for our boy, it’s worth learning.

We’ll keep you posted as we try this transition. Every step forward is a mix of courage and care. 💪💙

Haven had a great OT session today working on his fine motor skills! He practiced cutting out little spider legs, one careful snip at a time. 🖐️✂️ It’s amazing to see his concentration and how proud he gets with each small accomplishment. We’re so grateful for these moments of growth and progress. Go Haven! 💪❤️
