Been a video game streamer since 2021. Here are a few dumb moments I’ve had during that time:

•For the first entire month, I had the audio input set to the we**am instead of the microphone. I couldn’t figure out why my voice audio sounded like a cheap cassette player until I discovered the audio input menu on my PC. 🤦🏻‍♂️

•Although I have a PC and gaming console capable of 1080p resolution and 60 fps, I couldn’t figure out why my Facebook streams were at 720p with very blurry motion. Today, one simple Google search revealed that the culprit was my very low bit rate of 2500 kbps, which should be at 6000 kbps, for first person shooters like Overwatch. 🤦🏻‍♂️

•I thought I’d designed my gaming logo with a mastodon picture from Google images. Turns out my gaming mascot was actually an elephant. 🤦🏻‍♂️🐘

Note to self: Do your homework! 🤦🏻‍♂️
