Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you
The Father Himself loves you
In Malachi 1:2 we read:
"I have loved you," says the Lord. "Yet you say, In what way have You loved us?'
Like the Israelites, sometimes we too face the subject of God’s love with some doubt or suspicion. "If the Lord really loved me then He would have answered me that prayer or He wouldn’t have permitted the so and so thing to happen to me", some of us think. If some personal expectations are not fulfilled then this may have quite a negative impact on the way some people see God and His love. Regardless however of the opinion people may have it is God’s opinion, as stated in the Scriptures, that is true and the only one that really matters. It is this opinion we want to study today.
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
“Beloved, now we are children of God”
I love Galatians 3:23 to 4:7. In verses 23 and 24 Paul explains what was the role of the law: that it was a tutor for the time before the coming of the faith. It then moves on and tells us what happened when faith came:
“But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.”
“You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus”! Faith in Christ Jesus, to believe that He is the Son of God, the anointed One, the Messiah, makes us children of God, His sons and daughters! Gospel means good news and these are really GOOD NEWS! “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved”, as Paul and Silas said to the prison-keeper in Philippi (Acts 16:31). “You are all sons of God, through faith in Christ Jesus”, adds the Word here! This reality makes my heart full of joy every time I read this passage. Then chapter 4 of Galatians continues:
“Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bo***ge under the elements of the world. But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!" Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”
Verses 6 and 7 call us, once again, sons of God, His children. God has sealed this by sending the spirit of His Son into our hearts that cries out, Abba1 (daddy), Father! I have read this passage many times and it always gives me much joy. There is something however in it that used to confuse me. And this is the word “adoption” in verse 5. As we know adopted kids are not connected by birth to their adopted parents. This is the very difference between an adopted kid and a non-adopted one. The non-adopted one is connected by birth, by blood with his father and mother, while the adopted one by the act of adoption. I believe we will all agree that though it is wonderful to be a child of God, it is one thing to be an adopted one, where God has not parenting you by birth and quite another to be a child of Him because you were born of Him. I want therefore with this article to go together with you to the Scriptures and see what the Word of God says on the matter of being children of God.
You don't have to be sick another day.
You don't have to be in debt another day.
You don't have to live an ordinary life anymore.
If you want a supernatural life; it is now within reach.
Humbly wish you a blessed and wonderful new year 2021.
Before time names you.
Lord, teach us to stop counting
And start to number our days...
Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.”
How many does God tempt with evil? What does the Bible, His Word, tells us? NO ONE!
Does God test His people? Yes but not with evil. Instead He tests us as a teacher tests his pupils and as a parent his children. See for example the following test of Jesus to Philip, one of the 12:
“Then Jesus lifted up his eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward him, he said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” But this he said to test him, for he himself knew what he would do. Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little. One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him, “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?” Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.”
Jesus didn’t ask Philip because he didn’t know the answer. Instead he asked him to test him through this question. The Greek word translated as “test” here is the same Greek word that almost everywhere else is translated as “tempt”. But obviously this was not a temptation as such. Instead it was a test like a teacher, as Jesus is, would give to his disciples. He would ask them something, not necessarily because he doesn’t know the answer but because he wants to find out whether they know it! It is a test that is done with good intentions and not a trial whose purpose is to harm. Such tests, parent to child and teacher to pupil type of tests are the tests that God gives to us. By the way, as it is obvious from the answers, Philip and Andrew didn’t pass the test.

Verse of the Day
When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
Matthew 2:10-11 NIV
It is not up to God ...
It is up to you.
God said to Joshua...
"I will be with you wherever you go"...
God did NOT say "I will be with you wherever I tell you to go"
As you go, He shall come!
When you go, He shall come!
If you don't go, He shall not go!
If you don't go, He cannot come!

Jesus came into this world in the darkness of night, when skies were black. Such a deep, symbolic picture of what He came to do. Light of hope ushered straight in, not when times were easy or bright, but when times were hard, when things seemed uncertain. There was struggle, there was constant unrest, there was weariness, and many felt unsettled

The WORDS of God
are the WORKS of God.
All of God's WORKS are performed by God's WORDS.
What are you performing?
What are you saying?
What reality are you creating?
If you want to SEE it,
You have to SAY it!
HE SPEAKS IT
WE HEAR IT
WE SPEAK IT
WE SEE IT
