When you let go of trying to do what you think others want you to and start doing what makes you happy, you find joy in doing things again 🧡

I’ve always loved taking photos, specifically photos of my dogs in nature and beautiful places. When social media started dictating that videos were the popular thing to do, I stopped taking my nice camera with me places. My phone was sufficient and I just didn’t find the need to take my camera gear anymore.
I decided to pick my camera up again on a trip to one of my favorite places, and boy am I glad I did. Getting to see the gorgeous spot through a lens fills a little creative gap in me.
Am I a pro photographer? Not in the slightest, but I love being able to capture moments, places, and important details through the lens of a camera.

Whiskey absolutely LOVES being in front of the camera, haha and so I’m thrilled to have a best friend who is a very willing and exciting subject of my creative outlets. 💛

Someone asked me today how old Whiskey was and I got to say “actually she turns 5 today!” And they said “oh wow she’s so old” and my heart immediately sank 😅🙏😭

Whiskey is my baby dog and I cannot believe she turns 5 today. She has been such a dream come true and the dog that has brought me so many amazing opportunities and memories that will last a lifetime. Because of her, I have been able to lean into what I absolutely love to do and it’s so fun to have a friend to do everything in life with.

My baby girl might not be a baby anymore, but she’s still my baby dog. Happy Birthday Whiskey girl, we love you more than you could ever imagine - and I promise that restricting your food intake is out of love 😆😆
