It's astonishing that people voted against the Violence Against Women Act, but it passed nonetheless!

Great news!!! The House just passed the comprehensive Violence Against Women Act!

All women, no matter who they are or where they live, deserve to be protected from violence – and we are so happy to see VAWA pass with bipartisan support. Now off to President Obama to be signed into law!
