More than six decades after viewers first met them as seven-year-olds, the familiar faces of 70 Up are returning to television. The latest instalment airs at 9pm on Tuesday 15 September, as the group reflects on reaching the age of 70.

Miss Marple could be heading back to television, more than a decade after her last major TV adaptation. James Prichard, Agatha Christie’s great-grandson, has revealed that he has been working towards bringing the much-loved detective back, noting that she has often been overlooked compared with Hercule Poirot.

The character has previously been played by Joan Hickson for the BBC, as well as Geraldine McEwan and Julia McKenzie for ITV. Now attention turns to the possibility of a new adaptation — and who might take the iconic role.

Jesy Nelson could be heading for the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, with reports suggesting ITV is getting closer to securing the former Little Mix star for the 2026 series.

According to the reports, Jesy has held several meetings about taking part, although no contract has been announced and ITV has not confirmed the line-up. Producers are reportedly interested in hearing more about her time with Little Mix during life in camp.

The Great Celebrity Pottery Throw Down returns to Channel 4 on Sunday, with six famous faces stepping into the pottery studio for a five-part competition.

Hosted by Liza Tarbuck, the series sees Lucy Beaumont, Fatiha El-Ghorri, Richard Herring, Paul Merson, Denise Van Outen and Layton Williams take on challenges judged by Keith Brymer Jones and Rich Miller. If you enjoy the atmosphere of Shetland and the slow-burning investigations of Vera, Hinterland is a Welsh crime drama worth discovering.

The series follows DCI Tom Mathias, played by Richard Harrington, as he investigates cases around Aberystwyth and west Wales. First arriving in 2013, the drama ran for three series and was produced in both Welsh and English. Harrington also won Best Actor at the Welsh BAFTAs for his performance as Mathias.
