For me, studying was never merely about gaining knowledge or earning a degree; it was part of the same struggle I began years ago. A struggle against the heirs of an ideology that, from Qadisiyyah to this day, has cast its shadow over our beloved Iran and held my homeland captive.

But this path had another purpose as well: to become a worthy example for my children. I wanted them to see that even after the harshest defeats and the bitterest suffering, a person can rise again through willpower, knowledge, and perseverance, and reach new heights.

Today, as I stand in my doctoral robe before dozens of undergraduate students, what I see most clearly is the gaze of my children; eyes that are recording every moment of this scene in their memory. I hope that what they remember from this day is not the title of “Doctor,” but the value of resilience, integrity, and responsibility before the truth.

May they, too, continue the path of all prisoners of freedom, humanity, and honor, and may they never bow before tyranny, ignorance, or oppression.

In recent days I was the target of a deliberate, carefully engineered an attempt to take over my Telegram account. The timing was no coincidence. It landed just as International .

published an official warning that -linked hackers were running an organized campaign, pushing malware through fake accounts built in the names of its own journalists. (https://iranintl.com/202606077576)

Mine wasn't an isolated case. Over the same few days I fielded several suspicious approaches including one from a person claiming to be with .

, asking for an interview. The playbook was obvious: borrow the credibility of a real newsroom to win trust, then walk the target down a pre-planned path.

Here's how the main one unfolded. Someone messaged me politely, said they wanted to "do a story on the university dormitory (Kuy-e Daneshgah)," and offered to set up a press session with "the editor, Mr. Ramzanpour." A fixer there to hand me off to the "principal." The classic two-person setup, built to lower your guard.

To sell it, they even sent two voice notes, AI-generated to mimic "Ramzanpour's" voice. Then a second number came in under his name and warmed me up with a familiar, old-friends tone, as if we'd known each other for years.

Then the trap: a link to a "private Telegram group." Except the domain was a visual forgery a capital "I" swapped in for the lowercase "l" in telegram, so it reads as teIegram. "Join," they said, "the entry code for the session will be sent to your .
" That "session entry code" was, of course, my real Telegram login code.

One technical detail worth flagging: they had tried to hide themselves and their origin server behind Cloudflare to dodge tracing the same concealment tradecraft long used by Iran-linked clusters such as , , /42, , and offshoots like .

I recognized the signs. So I played along on purpose, to get them to expose their infrastructure and their link, and in the meantime I quietly began pulling their technical fingerprints.

Part of what I collected and I'm deliberately releasing only part: a freshly registered homograph domain built solely for this operation, hidden behind .

; and a real-time Telegram account-takeover kit engineered to capture even the two-factor (2FA) password. The rest stays with me.

I documented every step on video and have handed a complete technical file, with enough evidence, to the relevant authorities. I'm posting this not to go after the individual, but so others can recognize the pattern.

Watch for these:

1. Look-alike domains (e.g., a capital "I" in place of "l")

2. Any "session/entry code" that is actually your Telegram login code

3. AI-generated voice notes imitating someone's voice

4. The "fixer + principal" script, paired with urgency, flattery, and claims of prior acquaintance

And one golden rule: your Telegram login code is never a "meeting code." Never enter it on any page or website only in the official app. Turn on two-step verification, and verify people's identities through an independent channel.

These operations go after activists and journalists. If you get a message like this, don't click, don't hand over your code, and tell others. Recognizing the pattern is your best defense. Stay sharp, and guard your accounts.

* The WhatsApp numbers used in this operation were +44 7868 168267 and +44 7576 076203.

This Nowruz is not just a celebration. It is a declaration.
While millions mark the new year with hope, we gather with purpose.
In the heart of Washington, in front of the White House, we stand for a nation that refuses to disappear.
Iran is not a headline.
It is a people still fighting, still rising, still demanding to be free.
Bring your voice. Bring your flag. Bring your conviction.
History does not wait for the comfortable. It is shaped by those who show up.
March 29 | 1 PM
National Mall, Washington DC
We are not asking for attention.
We are claiming our future.
We take Iran back.

My dear compatriots,

An invaluable opportunity arose for me to attend the emergency session of the United Nations Security Council and deliver your message—the voice and outcry of the brave and noble people of Iran—directly to the world’s leaders and regional powers. My purpose was clear: to prevent the distortion of truth and expose the lies and whitewashing of the Islamic Republic’s representatives in this historic meeting.

I was given only seven minutes to speak—a brief span of time to express the pain of a nation, yet enough to shout the truth. In those moments, I decided to set aside my prepared remarks and speak from the heart rather than from paper. I spoke of my own experience in the prisons of this criminal regime and of the bloodshed and atrocities still unfolding across our homeland—dark chapters of Iran’s history that would take hours to recount.

After the session, I met and spoke with representatives of the countries that have stood with the Iranian people. On your behalf, I thanked them for their support and emphasized that this solidarity must go beyond words and translate into action. In these dark days, we deeply value their friendship and will not forget their support.

I did all that I could to make Iran’s voice heard across the world. If there were any shortcomings in my words or actions, I ask for your kindness and generosity to forgive them.
