People love to ask this question: How did humans survive before supplements? Simple. Our food used to be closer to the soil. Plants grew in mineral-rich ground. Animals ate nutrient-dense plants. Food made it to the table without the chemical processing we see today. But modern agriculture changed that... Between 1940 and today, soil studies show significant mineral depletion. Monocropping, pesticides, herbicides, and glyphosate have stripped nutrients from the soil.
