WHEN POLITICAL POWER & AUTHORITY IS MIXED WITH RELIGION, BIGOTRY, RACISM, GENDER DISCRIMINATION AND PRESUMPTUOUS SUPERIORITY

WEARS THE MASK OF FAITH

I just received a reel from a Charismatic Christian I know well — a woman filled with zeal but, perhaps, unaware of the spirit behind the message being amplified.
In the video, a crowd is urged to prepare for what the male speaker calls a “Reformation of America.” Their mission, he claims, is to tear down the nation’s existing social order and rebuild it in their own reformed image.
At the heart of their rallying cry stands a man hailed as a martyr — a symbol of what they believe must come: a nation purified, not by love or truth, but by exclusion and control. They speak of reform, yet what they describe is not reformation. It is regression — cloaked in the language of religion.
This movement, born of misguided conviction, is being baptized in the waters of bigotry, gender bias, and a dangerous theology of racial superiority. It exalts a false god — one shaped in the likeness of power, privilege, and presumption.
Some of its followers cannot conceive of a Christ who looks like the global majority. They cannot accept a Messiah whose humanity bore the tones of the earth — the same earth from which all flesh came. And so, they build a religion of whiteness, not holiness; of conquest, not compassion.
Charismatic Christianity, when corrupted by nationalism and supremacy, becomes a counterfeit gospel. It declares war on all who do not look, live, or worship as its adherents. It trades the cross of Christ for the sword of control — the Lamb of God for the lion of political dominion.
President Trump, ever the opportunist, has courted this network of self-anointed reformers, promising to “restore” America to their imagined past — a past where Caucasian men and women stand at the center of power and claim divine sanction for their dominance.dominance.
Some among them believe their genes, skin, and intellect are inherently superior — ordained by God Himself. This, too, is idolatry. And it has no place in the kingdom of heaven or in the heart of any nation that dares call itself just.
The true reformation of America will not come from hate disguised as holiness, nor from fear wrapped in prophecy. It will come from humility — from those who remember that every human being bears the image of God.
Until then, let us call this movement what it is: not revival, but rebellion against divine truth. For when political power and religious fervor unite under the banner of supremacy, it is not heaven that speaks — it is the echo of Babylon rising again.
