on the plane home from new york with the biggest smile on my face.
last night I was riding the subway to dinner with my friends and I was trying so hard to do the bored distracted subway face thing that all new yorkers do but I physically could not stop smiling. new york makes me so happy and my friends make me so happy and getting to do something with my life that I love makes me so happy.
I went to college in new york and in so many ways at that time I was shell of myself. I can feel the ghost of that me when I’m in new york. I wish I could tell her that life gets better than she ever could’ve imagined :-)
