At first, I wanted Oba Femi to go straight after the World Heavyweight Championship following SummerSlam.
But the more I think about it, the more I believe WWE made the right decision by keeping him out of the world title picture for now. Putting the championship on him too soon could make his rise feel rushed and take away from the long-term story.
Here’s how I’d book Oba Femi’s path to the top:
✅ Retire Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.
✅ Enter a short-term feud with Bron Breakker before the Royal Rumble.
✅ Come within inches of winning Money in the Bank, only to have a mid-card champion cost him the match.
✅ Win the United States Championship and dominate the entire division.
✅ Eventually vacate the title after making it clear that his sights are set on the World Heavyweight Championship.
✅ Win the Royal Rumble.
✅ Challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 43.
✅ Finally capture the World Heavyweight Championship and complete his journey to the top. 🔥
Oba Femi doesn’t need to become world champion overnight.
Let him build the story, overcome setbacks, dominate the mid-card, and earn his moment.
That way, when Oba finally becomes World Heavyweight Champion, it will feel like a massive, well-earned achievement rather than a rushed push. 🔥
