Y’all know I love cars right? Like REALLY love cars?

I was walking around Bethesda Row today and Lexus had a pop-up showing off their EV fleet, including a prototype of their new EV the TZ 450e.

Had a wonderful conversation while test driving the ES 500e through the streets and I loved it. Having been around Lexus cars for two decades, I always loved how the interior design was done, especially when compared to its siblings on the Toyota side of things.

I got to take a few photos and indulge my inner car photographer with these two while imagining how they would be helpful getting me between shoots.

Seeing how cars and design has evolved over the years is something I really enjoy so getting to play around with these today was incredible.

I went to the farmers market this morning with my camera. I often think of my career as that of a musical artist.

How do I distort my sound so that there’s edge? That it’s gritty when I want it to be, clean when I want that instead?

Part of this is just using a nice starting point and then changing lenses and how I edit to pull different aspects out. It’s an ongoing process.

I really, truly love getting to hang out and be a part of the Leica Camera USA community. 🔴

Leica Store DC hosted a photowalk today led by Bret Curry & Sawyer Flint centered around the new SL3-P.

Love using the SL line with a 75mm prime. It’s so clutch for portraits with nice isolation behind it. (4th slide shot at f/2 helps illustrates the point)

Brought the photos into Adobe Lightroom and only had to do the smallest nudges to get the files to look how I wanted them to feel.

This is the second time I’ve used the SL3-P and the fidelity I get each time and the ease of editing makes me want to add it to the kit.

Can’t wait to add my own body to the kit 🔴
