Chris is a 30-year veteran who has served as a firefighter paramedic, instructor, and peer support team member. After experiencing PTSD himself, Chris became an advocate for mental health awareness and su***de prevention in the first responder community. He speaks at conferences and has been featured in documentaries and publications. We'll discuss Chris's career, his struggles with PTSD, and his mission to end the stigma around mental health in public safety.
