Washington is hiring David Blough as their next offensive coordinator. Blough (who's just 30 years old) was a practice squad QB for the Detroit just two years ago. Since then, he's successfully made the quick transition to coaching, first as the ' assistant QB coach, then as the main QBs coach when Tavita Pritchard left for several weeks into the 2025 season... and now, he takes over the offensive coordinator job already having two years of experience with QB Jayden Daniels.

Detroit was also reportedly interested in Blough for its open offensive coordinator job.

The interviewed former Washington WR coach/current Passing Game Coordinator/WR Coach Drew Terrell for their Offensive Coordinator opening.

The team also reportedly spoke with several internal candidates, who likely included current passing game coordinator Brian Johnson, RBs Coach Anthony Lynn, and TE/QB Coach David Blough.

Washington has requested permission to speak with tight ends coach Lunda Wells about their vacant offensive coordinator position.

According to several sources, the had previously requested to interview Wells for their offensive line coaching position shortly after Dan Quinn was hired, but were denied permission to do so.

CB Marshon Lattimore was arrested on weapons charges in Ohio:

DETAILS: According to the Lakewood Police Department, Marshon was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for expired plates and other traffic violations. During the stop, Marshon did not tell the officer that there was a firearm in the vehicle when asked.

According to several reports, the Lakewood Police have issued him a criminal misdemeanor citation for Improperly Handling Fi****ms in a motor vehicle. His first court date will likely be early next week. This is Lattimore's second weapons charge in Ohio, with his first coming in 2021 when he pleaded not guilty and received a suspended sentence of 180 days. Lattimore was ordered to serve one year of “non-reporting” supervised probation and pay a $1,000 fine. He was removed from non-reporting supervision in May 2022, according to Cuyahoga County court records.

Lattimore (29), who is recovering from an ACL injury, is mostly considered a player on the bubble heading into this offseason and could save the team $18.5 million in cap space without any penalty if they choose to cut him.
