☀️ BRB… we’re having a Hot Girl Summer (and taking a little summer break)

Besties, what a year it’s been. From packed events and new friendships to incredible brand partnerships and so many unforgettable creator moments, this season has been equal parts exciting, inspiring, exhausting, and so worth it.

After our July Creator Coffee Session, The DC Influence is pressing pause on events until **September**. ✨

Why? Because your DCI team is heading behind the scenes to dream bigger, plan smarter, and create an even better experience for our community this fall. We want to come back refreshed, inspired, and ready to bring you our best season yet.

Don’t worry—we’re not going anywhere. 💖 We’ll still be hanging out here, sharing event recaps, creator highlights, community wins, and all the behind-the-scenes fun while we recharge.

To the creators who still work 9-5, this one’s for you 🫵

We have heard the feedback about our monthly Creator Coffee Sessions being during work hours. We also know (and respect) our creators who create content as a side hustle. That’s why we are hosting our first ever EARLY MORNING SESSION!

That’s right, from 8 AM — 10 AM we will be posted up at The Salty Donut for our June session. We couldn’t be more excited to get some early morning networking, creating, and maybe even a little work too!

As always, this event is free, though we kindly ask that you RSVP (link in bio) to help us get a headcount. This is one you are not going to want to miss!

We can’t wait to get creative and updated headshots with you at Washington DC Venue Page House!

If you are looking for inspiration, we have you covered with the shots we’re currently trying to replicate. From structured poses to genuine laughter and movement, we are going to help you bring your headshot visions to life.

We’ll have a few props on hand and highly recommend bringing anything you are wanting to shoot with for your headshot (or for your solo photo shoots around the grounds).

It’s Wednesday, let’s see what’s working 👀

This week for our , we are getting into the nitty gritty of headshots, and more specifically, why creative headshots are making a difference.

As natural creatives, our community is rooted in self-expression as branding. So why not have your personal brand’s first impression show just that?

Take for example the lovely of sporting her merch, an authentic smile, and showing her charismatic character all in one shot. We can see her bright personality immediately shine through and of course, we’re already thinking we need one of those sweatshirts!

Our second example is our fearless leader of The DC Influence, Meg. Known mainly for being behind the camera, she got up and out to showcase The DC Influence in the recent edition of . We can see her bright smile and camera in hand ready to create content around the Washington, DC area.

We’re setting you up (and posing you) for success at our Portraits at Page House event.

Happening this Saturday from 10 AM-12 PM, we’ll be taking your updated headshots and creating content together in a fabulous way.

We recommend bringing all of these essentials and more as you best see fit. We’re going for fun, creative headshots to level up your professional portfolio. Don’t worry, we can still do corporate style, we just like to have a little fun!
