This was a ROYAL pain in the ass but I finally got the old 1992 toilet off and am praying I don’t have to do too much retrofitting for the new one 😅
Whoever in their right mind thought putting the bolts in the front under the petal up front, and in the BACK where you can’t see and can barely reach, is in my hate book.
I also have NO idea what to do with the floor… previous owners (who knows how far back) put in vinyl plank without removing the toilet…. So they didn’t cover the back or right side… it’s the original laminate… new toilet is a much sleeker base so I’m probably gonna have to remove all the flooring in the bathroom and put something else to match because I’m really trying to avoid redoing all the flooring in the rv…. 🙄

I want to start redoing the seal around the windows. I think this is butyl tape. I can't find any videos on it. I don't want to take the windows out and replace with butyl tape. Can I just cut off the excess stuff and use a clear caulk?

🔥🔥Clarity point: we are not removing the fireplace, the question is about the foam/faux stone around the fireplace. 🔥🔥
About to start my remodel of a RV for my son to take to college. What has anyone done here around the fireplace to remove this foam rock stuff? Would love to see your pics and what product you used that can handle the heat. Thanks so much!

Wanted to share our Reno! It’s been a two year long labor of love…and we are in love with the results. This is the first time we’ve ever done anything like this, but we had so much fun and learned so much along the way! ☺️

I was honestly blown away the moment I stepped into my friend’s RV! 😍 They’ve set up the cutest little nursery for their kids — it feels just like a real, cozy room.
What really caught my eye was the kitchen — that upgraded sink and fridge are amazing!
Everything comes with the RV: the washer/dryer combo, rugs, storage, even the décor.
It seriously feels like a tiny home on wheels. Any adventurous family would absolutely love it! 🚐💛
