The power of “one”. On Saturday April 27th we took this picture of Matthew Burwick seated at the steps of the Venezuelan Embassy. His solitary and courageous action ignited the powerful movement of the Venezuelan Diaspora that ended on May 23rd with the removal of the remaining 4 terrorists. He is a hero!

There was a lot of drama during the 17th days that the Venezuelan diaspora protested the ilegal occupation of their Embassy in by leftist groups & . Within days, a strategy in both sides developed. The Venezuelans were determined not to allow food to enter the Embassy and the occupiers will try everything to get supplies in. Several times a day the "Embassy Protection Collective" as they call themselves will parade around the Embassy’s grounds and Venezuelans of all ages will form a human chain to stop them from trying to enter the building.

“OPERATION FREEDOM D.C." will be a 60-minute documentary about the 17th days that hundreds of Venezuelans protested against the members of the “all American” leftist groups “CodePink”, “Answer Coalition” and “Popular Resistance” that were living inside the Venezuelan Embassy in Georgetown, Washington D.C. since April 10th 2019. In an unprecedented show of patriotism, Venezuelans of all ages and of diverse political backgrounds camped day and night at the grounds of the Embassy until the four remaining occupiers were removed by Federal Agents on May 23rd, 2019.
