✨ The Gobblers 2024✨
There’s a common denominator amongst all the athletes that walk across the stage - they may not have grown up knowing what they would become or that they were going to be somebody, but they knew they could work hard enough to become somebody, that’s what we celebrate. The work within themselves to be a better person and athlete, for their teammates to be strongest support, and in the community to build a better world - All that work is seen and championed.

Over the past 10 seasons, I have been blessed with the opportunity to work alongside .tech Tech Athletics, and have watched an entire Athletics department and coaching staffs of every sport work as hard as the athletes FOR the athletes. The Gobblers is a perfect example - Going above and beyond to showcase the work of and show appreciation for all the accomplishments on and off the field.

The love for something bigger than yourself, the drive to represent Hokie Nation to the absolute best of your ability, and the passion for a place and a family that means more than we could ever put words to, that is why I am forever proud to be a Hokie.

& , what you do for the VT Student-Athletes & is so inspiring and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a small part in an amazing night you all work tirelessly putting together throughout the year 🙏🏼

SEASON 10 👊🏼
If you would have told me when I stepped foot on this campus as a Freshman in 2010, I would get the opportunity of a lifetime after graduating, DJing alongside Virginia Tech Athletics Virginia Tech Football for the past 10 Seasons, I would have laughed at you. This has never been a “gig” for me, I wouldn’t do it for another school. This truly is HOME.
It goes so much deeper than jumping to Enter Sandman or screaming LET’S GO while the other half of the stadium screams HOKIES back - is unlike any other, Lane Stadium is a force to be reckoned with, and Blacksburg is a place that words will never do justice.
Thank you to the entire Virginia Tech Athletics staff, both seen and unseen. You all are a cut above the rest. Your care and passion for this sacred environment is felt each and every game, in every sport. It will always be my greatest honor for the opportunity to work alongside you.

The Gobblers 2023🏆 - Champions honored, Legends Celebrated.
At 18 years old, you’re faced with one of the biggest life decisions you’ll ever have to make, I made the decision to go to Virginia Tech, sight unseen, never having toured the campus or having been to Blacksburg. I felt in my heart what I know how to put to words to now - It’s deeper than Maroon and Orange, trophies and accolades, it’s a heart for this family - Hokie Nation, a heart for this place - Blacksburg, and a heart to make a difference in every path you cross. Ut Prosim – that I may serve, More the just our motto, but something we take to heart.

To every Athlete, your impact will never be confined to a trophy case, field, court or pool, it’s the life-shaping moment when you stop to take a picture with a child that plays your sport, it’s the story you’re writing by fighting through injury or hardship clawing back to become better than ever, it’s using your platform for the good of others - rallying around a cause to change lives. You represent the University so well and Virginia Tech is a better place because of you.

It’s an honor to have the opportunity to celebrate each and every one of you at The Gobblers each year from the Red Carpet to the stage of the Moss Arts Center, Virginia Tech.

To all the staff of Virginia Tech Athletics that give everything you have for Hokie Nation & the students that put on a uniform, thank you for entrusting me with the opportunity to come alongside the level of excellence you bring each and every day. We’re better because of you!

Natalie Wimmer & Cameron Spera, Virginia Tech Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, you are the best of the best. Every year, I’m blown away by the vision of The Gobblers you pull off meticulously. We’re better because of you!

To all of , past and present, and every little child with a dream or high school senior wondering if they made the right choice. There is no better choice you could ever make. This is Home. We’re better because of you!
