You got to feel it to heal it, bb! Proud pal and iconic Westside ⭐️community based healing through the arts program shoutout⭐️🎙️!! Last night I got to laugh and cry as nine incredible women (including my friend , the sold out show’s hilarious opening act!!) took the stage at for the culmination of - a six week storytelling program where folks impacted by cancer (survivors, patients, healthcare providers, caregivers, etc) shared their stories through the art of standup, offering a bit of levity to us all, while expanding perspectives and raising money for credible cancer research organizations. This program is free and accepting applications now for its next cohort (and, also have cohorts for the unhoused) and I really, really want to see them scale snd succeed. Women belong in all places where decisions are being made.” So proud to be invited here, the , as a voice for the industry and to wear white today as a symbol of solidarity and sisterhood and all the baddies who came before me and all the work that still lie ahead towards equal voting rights and access, particularly of disenfranchised folk with restrictions impacting transgender people’s right to vote and felony disenfranchisement. It also now more important than ever to honor and continue the work of suffragettes with the criminalization of women accessing abortion care in the Midwest and South. Work toward more equal voting rights, a more fair and equitable industry and a more just future is never finished 🙏✊🏼🤍

This is the most consequential election of our time.

Last night I had the pleasure of hosting the ‘Creators and Changemakers: Blueprint’ panel with Congressman , , , and Annie Gonzalez on issues impacting our future and the role that creators play in calling people into civics and expanding perspectives.

It is amazing to watch so many people use their unique gifts to contribute to this important moment.

Massive thank you to the incredible Paola Carolina Jaimenad CEO & founder of Good Ppl Inc. (who I met at The The White House Creator Economy Conference this summer 🥰) for the opportunity, vision and partnership.

Me after fully blacking out trying to tell how grateful I am for her and how I was fully moved to tears by her speech. I lost it, particularly when she spoke of Harris’s character, describing her as ‘the most powerful woman in the world’ — who could read how she was feeling, then LISTENED to her, dried her tears and reminded her of her OWN greatness and purpose at a particularly distressing time.

This part took me out with a wave of gratitude for all of the powerful women (for real though!!!), at every 👏🏼chapter 👏🏼of 👏🏼my 👏🏼life, who instilled their belief in me and my ability, during the most trashcan s**t moments too and how THEY kept me going (and, still do). It was always women, and these are women I want to be and to elect. Character matters.

We need more women like ; brilliant,
straight-shooters, with HEART, who aren’t afraid to show up their beautifully authentic and glam selves (no more shrinking!!!) and we need them in the house, in the senate and in EVERY place where decisions are being made.

She also reminded us tonight that my NY, NJ and CA blue state folks, really, really need to get all of our people to show up on Nov 5th and to vote for the house to set our future president ( 🙏🏼) up for success because the looney behavior we see on TikTok from Majorie and Bobert is only the tip of the republicaña nuttyness iceberg.
