Ask me what my morning routine is, and I will answer by saying I begin with prayer. Time I wake up, I give thanks to the Lord. I then make my coffee, grab my Bibles, pray, and read the Word of God. However, this is more than just a “routine”. For me, it is a necessity, and I consider that bonding time with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, immensely valuable.

It should be noted that even a short prayer can do so much — more than many may realize. So when you wake up each day, and especially before you walk out your door…pray. Thank God for what He has done, ask Him for protection and guidance, and believe He will answer that prayer.
