The entire Ford Field stadium in Detroit fell silent as Mick Jagger lowered his microphone mid-song, his sharp eyes locking onto a weathered sign held high in the front row:

“I got into Stanford. You said we’d sing together.”

The crowd held its breath as a young woman stepped onto the stage — Lily Tran, once an orphan in foster care, now a full-scholarship student at Stanford University, one of the most prestigious institutions in America. At just 9 years old, Lily had met Mick Jagger during a backstage meet-and-greet.

Back then, she had told him her dream: to escape hardship through education and music. Jagger bent down, flashed his iconic grin, and told her:

“When you get into college, if I’m still out here singing, we’ll do a song together.”

Today, she kept her promise. And so did he.

The two performed an emotional duet of the Stones’ timeless ballad, “Wild Horses.” At first, Lily’s voice trembled as she sang the lines he had given her, but with every note, her confidence grew — as if every memory, every struggle, and every hope she had carried poured straight into the melody.

The arena, usually roaring with energy, fell silent — only to explode moments later with cheers, tears, and thunderous applause. As the final note faded, Mick leaned down and whispered into her ear:

“You didn’t just keep your promise… you reminded me to keep mine.”

The entire audience rose to their feet, applauding with all their hearts — not just for a performance, but for something far more rare: a moment that rose above music itself, becoming hope, resilience, and a promise fulfilled.

Our Story

Update August 8, 2019

August 11, 2019 marks 25 years of our continuous activity on the internet. August 16th marks three years since the devastating floods in South Louisiana that affected our operations. With this month we can say that we have moved from the swamps to the mountains to continue our traditions and the full time resumption of operations. Look forward to our new operations beginning this fall.

Update March 11, 2019

For the last six months we have been running 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We also added three additional streams to cover the wide spectrum of artists. During this time we have operated without advertising or subsidies from any source. We wanted to see if we could accomplish and succeed with the technology and we have done so. After much debate we have questioned whether 24 hour nonstop programming is viable in today’s changing society. We have come to the conclusion that the concept is becoming obsolete. After decades of exposure to the concept that is a radical change!
