🚨 🇭🇺TERROR HÁZA CLOSED AGAIN. UNREAL. THIS IS TISZA'S POLICY? DESTROY EVERYTHING?
Let me explain to my international followers what they just closed down — again.
❓WHAT IS TERROR HÁZA?
For those who never visited: Terror Háza is not just a museum. It was created to serve as a way for visitors to understand the terrors that Hungarians lived under during the difficult period. It is a chilling memorial to the victims of both the fascist and communist regimes that ruled Hungary in the 20th century. 
The building is at Andrássy út 60. This is sacred ground.
From 1944 it was the HQ of the Arrow Cross, the police of the Hungarian N**i Party, who had formed a government that year. They called it the House of Loyalty, and set about exterminating Budapest's Jews. 
After the war it became the headquarters of the Soviet political police, the ÁVH from 1945 to 1956 — torture chambers, basement cells, executions. 
In 2000, under the government of Viktor Orbán, the building was turned into a museum and in 2002 the House of Terror Museum opened its doors to the public at this historic site. To remember the victims. Never again. 
AND NOW?
House of Terror Museum Temporarily Closed after Director's Removal. 
Official statement: The museum has been temporarily closed as part of the decision and will remain inaccessible until a review of the content of its exhibitions has been completed and rights relating to the displays have been clarified. 
On the door: The House of Terror Museum is temporarily closed to visitors for technical reasons. 15 September 2026 
Technical reasons? Review of content? This is how it starts. First review, then rewrite, then erase.
IT'S NOT JUST TERROR HÁZA
The Hungarian Government formulated the National Hauszmann Program to revitalize and restore Buda Castle and its surrounding district in the period of 2019−2030 — rebuilding our history after communists destroyed it.

Now? Hungary's new government scraps National Gallery plans. Tisza Govt Won't Use Castle District Palace as PM's Office — The prime minister's office will relocate from the Carmelite Palace in the Castle District to a ministry building near Parliament under the Tisza Party government. 
All constructions in Buda Castle stopped. All existing developments in the country frozen. Everything that was rebuilding Hungary — STOPPED.
So what is the final goal? Close memory, stop building, destroy everything? That's the policy by the looks of it.
Oh and the one "positive" news from the same day?
Hungary's government will change legislation passed in 2020 by Viktor Orban's former government that had effectively banned gay adoption, Prime Minister Peter Magyar said on Saturday 
So same-sex couples can now adopt children.
Terror Háza closed. Buda Castle stopped. Country's history frozen. But adoption law changed.
The country is finished if this is the direction.
I said it before — this is not governance, this is demolition.
